Travel & Accomodation
  • You will find all support from the official tour operator of the Congress Top Atlântico.
  • The Congress has nominated TAP Portugal as official air travel company (that will offer reduced prices to participants).
  • We strongly recommend all colleagues travelling from countries from where a Visa is requested, to address the Congress secretary as soon as possible, in order to avoid last minute difficulties and to contact, when needed, the relevant embassies.

How to get to the Congress

The transport recommended by the congress organization is the Metropolitano of Lisbon (www.metrolisboa.pt). The Underground station is “Cidade Universitária”.

However one can also take the following buses: 31-32-35-38-68

Eating

There are several university restaurants in the Faculties. Bellow we list some of the restaurants:

  • Faculty of Letters: Canto das Letras, Bar de Baixo, Esplanada de Cima;
  • Faculty of Law: Média Alta;
  • Faculty of Sciences: Quiosque Borges, ATFC-UL
